Nick Ugoalah’s Youth Empowerment
Seminar, UGO YES gives young people the hope they need to
imagine a happy, successful future and tools to make it
happen.
He understands how much energy a troubled youth expends
just surviving. As a youngster, Nick lived in fear, helplessness
and despair, a victim of an abusive father. In his dark
and narrow world, there was no place for dreams or ambition.
Later, when he escaped his home and was placed with a loving
foster family, lights came on for him. With the family’s
support and guidance, he surprised himself – transforming
from an angry, directionless young man to Ugo, an ace student
and wrestling superstar.
Young people, who are often suspicious and cynical, connect
with Ugo. His powerful physique and dynamic presentation
intrigue them, and they recognize themselves in his story.
He proves that even in the worst of circumstances, they
can get unstuck. Ugo gives kids a sense of purpose and direction,
a way to heal and get past obstacles to achieve their own
greatness.
As he visits schools, youth conferences and jails, Ugo’s
positive example of excellence, discipline and persistence
changes children’s lives. He is a professional level
member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers,
and is especially committed to helping disadvantaged youth
get back on track. He also helps individuals find their
focus and achieve their goals, teaches organization members
to succeed through teamwork and trains corporate groups
to handle challenges creatively.

Some
alarming trends such as growing teenage violence, increasing
numbers of youth in the juvenile system, drug abuse and
an increasing student dropout rate demonstrate the attitudes
of youth towards themselves, their future and themselves.
Our young people have developed inappropriate and ineffective
behavior patterns which create barriers to discovering and
fulfilling their potential. These unsuitable behavior patterns
can be identified and redirected through the UGO YES training
process.
The UGO YES program addresses the problems facing our youth.
The seminar focuses on the self development processes that
reshape our behaviors. Our approach is designed to get to
the core of the individual’s self esteem and limiting
beliefs, then we rebuild from there. Here are some of the
core elements of the UGO
• Explore their dreams and plan a course of
action to achieve them.
• Inspire self-belief that they are capable of doing
and achieving great things. That they have something to
give, their potential is not fully tapped.
• Implement strategies that help youth own
and understand their value and importance to society,
allowing them to choose an alternative path to self destructive
behaviors.
• Introduce goal setting and planning
as basic tools for taking control of your life and achieving
greatness.
• Take 100% responsibility for their life and the
results they are producing. Create a sense of duty for achieving
greatness in life.
• Regardless of past or present you can overcome
challenges and take your life to where you want
to be. |
